SPHERES OF ACTIVITY

1) Culture and Arts – Research, documentation, protection, nurturing, and promotion of archaeological, material, and intangible cultural heritage; promotion and popularization of contemporary cultural and artistic creation as well as international cultural and artistic exchange of cultural workers and artists;

2) Public Information – Public information in Serbian and the languages of minority national communities; improving the quality of public information; promoting and introducing European standards and values in the field of public information;

3) Education – Education in Serbian and the languages of minority national communities; promotion of modern methods of institutional and non-institutional education; distance learning; and lifelong education;

4) Tourism – Promotion of receptive tourism and enhancement of the quality of tourist and hospitality services; training young people for work in tourism; organization of economic events, exhibitions, fairs; and promotion of economic activities;

5) Economy – Organization of economic events, exhibitions, fairs; and promotion of economic activities, with a focus on empowering individuals and groups to establish new economic entities, primarily independent crafts and service activities, small and medium-sized enterprises, and professional associations and clusters;

6) Agriculture – Organization of economic events, exhibitions, fairs; and promotion of economic activities; promotion and education in the field of agriculture; development of new electronic services for agriculture;

7) Ecology – Development and popularization of ecological awareness through educational and training processes, with a special focus on media promotion of the importance of environmental protection and preservation;

8) Energy – Education in the field of energy and energy efficiency and promotion of renewable energy sources;

9) Healthcare – Education in the field of healthcare, with a focus on popularizing health prevention;

10) Gender Equality and Equality of Marginalized Groups – Promotion and introduction of European standards and values in the process of developing gender equality and equality for marginalized groups; contributing to social protection and employment by empowering women, socially vulnerable, and marginalized groups;

11) Youth Policy – Education of young people and development of digital, technological, and media literacy as a part of general culture and essential personal skills for all citizens, with a primary focus on youth;

12) European Integration – Contribution to raising societal awareness about the importance of introducing European standards and values in all areas of social and economic life, aimed at accelerating the Republic of Serbia’s progress towards EU membership.
